Olot's CIT has been organizing this event since 1968.
A flower offering to the Patron Saint of Olot - The Virgin Mother of Tura, and a homage to the latest mother in town to give birth are among the most relevant events to take place during the day.
Several pupils from various schools recite poems dedicated to the Patron Mother. There is also an event organized as a symbolic homage to all the mothers in Olot.
